Scots Gaelic, Sword of Honour and Binocular complete a hat-trick at Killarney August Festival meeting
Scots Gaelic, owned by Alan MacAlister from Perth in Australia, stayed on well to win the Tadgh Clifford Ground Care Handicap nicely. He should continue to progress on the flat and over hurdles. Sword of Honour running in the colours of Mrs. John Magnier, won impressively the J & B O'Sullivan builders INH flat race on the second day of the meeting. The plan is to run him at the end of the year in preparation for 2012 Cheltenham Festival Bumper. Binocular completed the hat-trick by winning the final flat race of the meeting, the Ross Golf Club Handicap. Binocular has been a great servant to the stable and is owned by local Carrick on Suir man Michael Duggan. He won this race nicely and he should win again on the flat and over hurdles.
